Drawing from life

Hello sweet petals!

I'm writing and steeping a cup of delicate rose bud tea.

Since a young age I have loved drawing and painting, particularly flowers. Connecting with nature everyday is an important part of my routine whether it's going for a walk, watching the ocean or looking at the flowers that have fallen along the side walk or just sitting by the window with the sunlight drenched on garden those little moments inspire me to create. There is one thing nature has taught me is that it doesn't demand anything from me, it just exists.

I often take a sketchbook with me at the botanical garden or just in my backyard a place where i feel joy and solitude away from the bustling city, honking cars, endless chatter and constant rush.

Nature has a way of calming my nervous system. When i'm surrounded by tall trees, birds and garden my creativity flows more freely. Often my illustrations start naturally through observation usually from an experience outdoors.

After spending time sketching in nature, I love sitting down with a warm cup of tea and reflecting on what I saw.

I am reminded by nature that creativity doesn’t have to be rushed. Just like gardens, creative ideas take time to develop. They grow slowly, gently, and in their own rhythm.

For me, creating art is a way of capturing these peaceful moments and sharing them with others.
